Nancy Beauregard lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her daughter and two Maine coon cats. She relocated from Massachusetts to New Mexico seven years ago after two tornadoes caused extensive damage to her property and several other homes and businesses. Beauregard decided go back to school and pursue her love of writing. She is an undergraduate student at the Institute of American Indian Arts majoring in creative writing with a focus in fiction and poetry. Her work has appeared in publications including: “Contemporary Haiku,” and “Earthsigns.”
Beauregard’s first poetry chapbook, “I Heard A Train,” has recently been accepted and will be published by Finishing Line Press in the near future. She is in her second year on the “Santa Fe Literary Review” editorial staff, where she serves as a poetry editor.
